Issues with my 2008 G

Hello all, I was hoping to get some help narrowing down what is going on with my car. About a month ago, I started to smell a burning smell coming from the front of my car. That may have been nothing because I later found a plastic bag stuck to the underside of my car on the exhaust.
A couple of weeks later, I started to get a poof of white smoke, only on startup, which has been really embarrassing. I did some reading on cars in general and a lot of people were saying valve seals were the problem for different cars. After doing more reading on this site, I see that it is a common problem for the spark plug gaskets to leak in the valve covers, and some people are using the R&D kit, or just swapping out for brand new valve covers. Would oil in my spark plug tubes cause the white smoke at start up?
Here is what my car is doing and what I have done so far. Of course the white smoke at start up...when I slow down to turn a corner then accelerate again, I hear a rattle/ chattering sound coming from my driver side, this happens at around 1800-2000 rpms for a second then stops. My wife has been driving this car for a while and I honestly don't think she has been keeping up with the maintenance/oil changes. A few days ago, I put some seafoam in the crankcase to clean out any sludge that might be in the motor since I was taking it to get an oil change the next day. After taking it out for a test drive, I let it sit idle and noticed the white smoke pouring out just as it used to do at startup. Is this possible, or am I looking at a bigger problem now? Later that night, I fed seafoam through my brake booster vacuum line and of course it smoked like crazy and I was expecting that. Here it is 2 days later and it is still smoking while driving, just not as bad.
At the moment, it smokes like crazy at startup, and anytime I gun it pretty hard, then it stops. It's not a full time smoker just on heavy acceleration. That rattle sound I was referring to earlier at 1800-2000 rpms, now occasionally, the engine will bog down and misfire at that point but once I bust through that point it's fine. The car runs great on the highway, the issues are at low RPMs. I'm not losing coolant, just oil and there appears to be a leak on the very front coilpack/ valve cover area on the drivers side. Could the rattling sound be a spark plug which is contributing to the occasional misfire at those low RPMs? It does rattle every time at that range, it just doesn't always misfire. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Obviously, something isn't right with the combustion process in your engine. If it were mine, I'd quit putting any more geewhizz cleaning solvents in it and just pull the darn plugs and have a look.

I pulled the plug where I thought the valve cover was leaking (the coilpack below the oil fill) and the sparkplug tube was clean. I didn't pull the plug though but when I do start pulling them, what should I look for? Charring? Oil?
After all of that lengthy information that I put in my OP, I forgot to mention that I'm getting codes p0014 and p0024. But would these codes cause it to smoke?

Sorry, I don't have time to dive into this, but you've clearly got some issues with the exhaust valve timing. Here's some quick background info:

BTW, I wouldn't suggest that you keep driving the car in that condition.

Thanks, I knew I had some trouble with exhaust valve timing according to the codes, but I was like you in an earlier post where you stated that it seems like I have some serious combustion issues with the smoke and all. I would hate to spend $1000 on both bank1 and bank2 exhaust valve timing covers and it not fix the problem. If its a major problem with the block, I can't afford an engine swap even if I don't spend the money for new exhaust VTCs. I owe $18000 on this car and a used engine swap would cost me $6000 or more with it being out of warranty. It seems to me the symptoms and the codes aren't matching up because out of all my research, I haven't found the first post online that states identical codes and symptoms. Thank you for trying.
