Are you sure they make an x pipe for a V36 sedan?

magnaflow 11386 resonated x pipe is what I have on my V35, it's an exhaust component so it'll work on both cars equally well.

Does an aftermarket X-pipe do anything? Any gains or replacing a worn out unit?

It changes the sound, but that's pretty much it. My Magnaflow resonated x pipe made my $200 HKS replica exhaust almost tolerable for a daily and sound great. This is for a dual aftermarket exhaust, the stock exhaust uses a Y-pipe. They don't really wear out, they're SS pipes welded together with resonator material around them in some cases.

Gotcha, I'm looking for mods that increase power/effeciency, I passed the ricer Civic fart-can stage some time ago... plus attracting cops without any power gains to show for it is probably not a smart idea.
