So i have a 08 g35x and that was involved in a wreck and is more expensive to fix then the car is worth. I was considering putting the engine in a different G and was wondering how difficult it would be to swap a hr into a de engine bay. Main issue is making sure the engine mounting points are the same.

 

Engine, transmission, wiring harness, ECM if you're going to swap to a different platform engine, plus a myriad of other smaller things like routing AC lines and such.

There's plenty of folks that have done an HR swap on either the G35 or 350Z so you should be able to google up a wealth of knowledge.

If you want EASY then you should shop around for another HR platform car that has a blown up engine or transmission.
