A few weeks ago I had the water pump catastrophically fail on me, coolant was mixing with oil and you could hear the bearing going out while it was running. It is a 2008 g35x so a water pump job is no easy task. After about two weeks of working in my spare time I finally have it back together. As I was bleeding the coolant system the car threw codes p0011 and p0014, I know the gallery gaskets are not the cause because I inspected them while I was doing the water pump. And they had been replaced already. Could it be something as simple and the old contaminated oil clogging up that solenoid?
Now as for the temp, the gauge fluctuates constantly, on a non highway 10 minute drive it would go from 3/4 up the gauge to regular resting place just above half at least 5 times. I am at a ****ing loss with it, the thermostat is new, the water pump is new, the temp sensor is new, and the system has been completely flushed and burped. I have noticed that when I hold the throttle at about 3000 rpm for a few seconds the temp gauge will always drop and remain cool for a little while. Has anyone run into anything like this before?
I am about ready to turn this car into a ****ing yard trophy.

Sounds like you might have air in the system and are you sure the engine didn't turn over at all when you were working on the water pump? I have an 06 and the engine turned over on me when I attempted my water pump and ended up having to take the whole cover off and put everything back in time. I replaced the primary chain and guides while I was in there too.

The 2008 has the vq35hr motor in it, I don’t have those convenient little windows for water pump and chain tensioner removal. So I had the whole cover off of it, and yes it did initially slip the chain but since I already had the cover off it I just retimed the engine once I was done with the water pump.
Does your heater blow hot air, sounds like there is air trapped in the system.
Since you're throwing BOTH cam codes for bank1 (intake and exhaust) I'm pretty sure you skipped a tooth on the timing chain while it was taken off.
Did you TDC the engine prior to removing the chain? Did you line up the match marks on the chain to the cam/crank sprockets exactly?
If not did you at least zip tie the chain so there was no possible way it could move on the crankshaft sprocket?
If not you're probably off by a tooth.
