The shipping prices to Canada are a little steep.
$46 USD? How steep can shipping be? They come in a paper mailer. He's
charging you $16 for shipping? It won't cost $5 to ship them.

But yeah, they are cool looking. Totally changes the look of the car at night when the doors open. Looks like the interior is lit from the glow of a TV screen compared to the yellowish light you get from normal bulbs.

And a side benefit... if you forget and leave one of the interior lights on, it won't kill your battery nearly as fast as regular bulbs.

I know - this guys crazy w/ his shipping prices to Canada. Pisses me off.

Would you mind posting some pics when you're done. If its worth it, I'll still fork over the $46 US.

Railgunner,

Have you looked at the mirror bulbs yet? Looks just like an old-style glass fuse but it's a bulb. I don't plan to change those since I don't use it much but if you find something, let us know.

$16 bux is expensive for a mailer. If the packaging on the bulbs is flat enough, the paper mailer can be sent as a regular letter mail.

If someone in the states is buying them, get him to buy for everyone in canada, and have him ship it up.

I recently changed out my interior and license plate lights to white LED's purchased from the eBay site. Easiest install ever. The lights look awesome. I have some pics in my signature. However, will need to tweak my camera setting to allow for better night shots. Either way, the easiest tool to use is a small common-head screwdriver. The owner's manual shows exactly where to place the screwdriver to pop off the light covers. Keep in mind that these things heat up rather quickly, so have a small soft hand towell to take the bulbs out. Also, the door bulbs are best removed if you unplug the light. This way you don't have to lay on the ground or even neal down to work on it. Simple actually. I even used the tiny head of the screwdriver to popo the buld out, didn't even have to touch it. Once done, looks awesome! Quick easy mod. Enjoy. PS. I paid $38.98 (includes tax). Well worth it. Have one replacement bulb left. One more thing. If you put the bulb in one way and it doesn't turn on, then take it out turn it over, should be fine.

Not sure if the prior link worked. However, it should have a link on one of the first pages. Look on eBay for Lot of 10 194/168/158 White High-Power LED Lights Bulbs.

I bought some just like that, then promptly returned them to the seller. These LEDs are not bright at all and the white ones just make a weird blueish glow as opposed to providing useful light.

I'm still on the fence with this one, I'm hoping I can find someone that sells some good LEDs locally to save on the terrible rip off that is eBay shipping to Canada. Even Canadians rip off Canadians on eBay.
