Just looked it up on the '07 manual (which is terrible compared to every other year, I'm not sure why they changed the layout but Nissan has gone from one of the best factory service manuals to one of the worst).

The hood pin is integrated in to the lock and runs to the IPDM under the hood.

You would probably be better off tapping in to the trunk pin located at the BCM. It is pin 50 in harness 121 and should be red in color. Should read either 5 or 12 volts when the trunk is closed and 0vdc when the trunk is open.

KPierson,

Thanks for your help. I'm getting closer, but I cannot locate the BCM. I thought it was by the kick panel on the driver's side, but they moved it on the 07'.

Can anyone find this? Please see the attached PDF

*EDIT* On passenger side kick panel

Spent awhile trying to figure it out, but I gave up.

Hopefully someone will figure it out and write up a DIY.

please note, I'm not specifying the location where to hook up the shock sensor, just the location of the BCM

That is NOT the BCM, that is the IPDM.

just put 2way remote start on 07 sedan, hood pin wire is negative trigger and located in the IPDM under hood next to battery, (must remove battery covers, and passenger side cowl section to get to it). IPDM is black box next to batt. Wire is teal or greenish color with silver dots located in a white plug that has only 5 or 6 wires in it. FOR INFO_ the BCM is in the pass. kick panel

there are 2 hood latches but only 1 hood pin switch, it is on the passenger side latch down low and kinda hard to get to without removing airbox. wires on actual pin switch are white and black but change at another plug about 8 inchs down the line to black and teal/greenish. you can tap in there if you dont wanna take of cowl pieces. just remove pass airbox and look for the wire coming from the latch, the black wire is the trigger before the plug that is 8 inches down the line after the pulg like i said the greenish wire is the trigger

Hope that helps anyone
