Mobil 1 5w30

I've heard mixed reviews. Some people are saying that the VQ engine doesn't like Mobil 1 5w30. Does Infiniti have an oil certification program? I know BMW frowns upon Mobil 1 5w30, as they claim it runs leaner (less viscosity) than other synthetic blends.

Feedback?

There are some threads around bashing M1. I have used it since day 1 and will keep on.

I dunno - was planning to switch, then did some searching around and found the same thing, lots of negative feedback on Mobil 1 in the VQ. Since I can't find German Castrol, and am too lazy to find Amsoil, guess I'll just keep running Castrol dino.
