No rubbing...it was perfect flush fit to the outside of the wheelwell. They tucked perfect over bumps an no rubbing on the inside either. Remember though that was not an 07 sedan.

I'm pretty sure the insides are probably similar enough. I've seen 275 on 10" with +40, lowered and no rubbing. So if we can really go to 275 on 10" with +55, lowered like your older model ... maybe a 285 on 10" with +48, lowered is very possible.

I see that, I got mine for $1800 shipped from CA to VA with Falken FK 452s, so, I guess its not any better than my deal. Also, the guy selling those advised a potential customer to put a staggered setup on his brand new '07 X. I dont think thats a great idea....

So does that mean you're not going for the 295's?

Since they are off a Lexus, make sure the center bore is at least 66.1mm. The Lexus bore is smaller and oem wheels won't fit the G. Most aftermarket wheels go larger and use hub rings but make sure before you buy.

Also 295's will not fit...

Looks like some guy with a 350Z beat me to them.....but I really like the rim and may order a set of new.

I'm not an expert, so can you please explain why the center bore is critical? I thought the wheel is located on the hub by the conical lug nuts.

The G35 is hubcentric, meaning it uses the hub to center the wheels. If the bore is too small you can't get the wheels on. If the bore is too big, then it wont center the wheel, this will cause vibration. For universality, most manufactuers use a 73mm center bore, then adapter rings reduce that to fit a specific sized hub.

The mrrs are 73mm, you use a hub ring to bring it down to 66.1mm to fit on the hub of your G.

I don't think the 07 wheels/rotors are hubcentric. I had my front and rear brakes pulled apart yesterday. The front rotor is actually a big hole ... there are no features for centering. Same with the wheel ... no feature for centering. Plus that would cause interference problems with conical lug nuts.
