2008 Infiniti G35 6MT dyno

I just got back from running my G35 on a local Dynojet 248.

The car had 430 miles on it.

Video will be up sometime.

Rather low for a 330hp car . She should make more once it gets broke in real well

EDIT...is this on a sedan ? I take back the above if it is .

Yes, on the G35 sedan, not the G37 Coupe. (I wish it was a G37 Sedan )

The G35 is 306hp.

14.4% drivetrain loss would put me at 262whp.

Once it loosens up I may make a few more.

Is there an area to view other people's dynos? What's the highest anyone has dynoed? The lowest? It sounds like I'm 'in the ballpark' of what it should be at, but I'm just curious what other people's cars are putting down.

Hmm from other guy's that posted thier Dyno's. I've seen about 266@ the wheels with a 6MT, and seen someone post thier Auto Dyno at about 259-263@ the wheels. SO you're about right, and having so little miles, once the motor loosens up a bit, you should be in the mid-high 260 range! I want to dyno mine soon, maybe next month. I'll dyno it stock, then with Intakes to see if there is really any HP to gian with an Intake.

Just an FYI - The machine you dyno on will make the difference in numbers, not the car. We have the same engine. See this link for my results on the dyno: https://g35driver.com/forums/v36-engine-exhaust-drivetrain-fi/175872-07-g35s-dyno-w-fujita-intakes.html. Agree with 808MIKE about loosending (breaking in) your motor. Either way, enjoy the clean ride!

Also, the first run (001) wasn't recorded because the tach signal dropped. So run 002 is the 'back to back' run with only a minute break to adjust the clamp on the signal wire.

Then run 003 was done after 8 minutes of cool down.

5th gear is 1:1 and should have been the gear it was run in for better results.

Is that typical on all 6spd cars? I'm actually not sure if it was done in 4th or 5th. I just know I heard enough shifts for it to not be 3rd and then started playing w/ my camera. My VW (5spd) was always dyno'd in 4th, so I just assumed it was the same for this car... but maybe not.

Most cars are 4th gear, but the Z it's 5th gear.

Interesting... then I'm sure they dyno'd it in 4th since that's the typical gear used. Where'd you find the info that 5th is 1:1?
