Portable GPS mounted in a 07+ G35? Any pics? Recommendations?

It would be great if someone offered a bracket that would mount a Garmin Nuvi right above the center stack.
Similar to the location of the factory NAV in the s1008 C-class.
There seems to be a "seem" in the 07+ G35's interior trim where a "L" shaped bracket might be able to be inserted into the factory interior.
One would have to remove some of the interior pieces on the G35 to figure out the location beneath the interior where you could mount a bracket.
I'm surprised companies like Profit or Panavise aren't offering some sort of solution for a NAV mount that looks factory.

What would be v. nice if someone posted pics of hiding the wiring of aftermarket GPS. I am presently looking for a solution of hiding the wiring of Nuvi 680 is mounted on top of center dash. It tends to get a lot of use and cord is becoming frayed due to constant winding-unwinding done with every trip. Something I though may work would be running it along the center console on the driver's side, then having the cord come out of the vent near the center dash (which would meand diassembling the dash, something I would rather avoid). Ideas?

This is the way to go. It keeps the interior neat & clean and it works as good or maybe even better than OEM. It's a matter of opinion.

BTW - airhoppz, I don't know where TT C6 lives but in Canada the option does cost $3K plus a heck of a lot of tax on that, in some places.

1) No touchscreen?
2) Cannot remove GPS for use outside the car or in a rental
3) Setup is pretty complicated
4) I already own a Nuvi 680, which has bluetooth which my G35x does not have
5) It seems that running the Nuvi 680 power cord from the center console along the seat and pinning the end plug to the air vent next to the suction cup base on center dash is a much simpler solution (except for disassembling the dash). I was wondering if anybody else tried doing it that way.

Finally got around to posting some pics of my Garmin Nuvi 350 mount setup. I don't think I've seen anyone else use this mount and I have to say it's one of the best mounts I've seen / found for discreetness and perfect line of sight usability.
For those interested, I found it for cheap at http://www.mountguys.com/
The one I got is http://www.mountguys.com/product_p/mfx47-nuvi.htm
and for the price you can't beat it (under $20)
