My car is making weird noise...

I was in school parking lot just now.. and trying to look for spot i was just rolling around the lot without pushing any gas.. and when my car rolls it make litke break sqeeking noise like when break pads goes bad.. but i wasnt pressing break at all.. and my car doesnt say i have a e-break on.. so.. i dont know whats going on.. i first thought it was car behind me with bad break pads but it was my car.. anybody had same issue before? it goes away if i start pressing gas.. thanks guys..

really? but i wasnt appyling break when it was making noise though.. that sucks. i guess its time for shopping for new break pads.. dang..

That is exactly what happens when you need pads.

ah.. haha.. thanks guys.. i never had to change pads for my old cars so.. didnt know.. i drove my 06 coupe for 25000 miles without changing pads and traded in.. i only drove this car for 12000.. sucks.. i guess i am getting used to la driving.. is there any aftermarket break pads for 07s yet? any experience with pads? maybe BBK? haha.. j/k.. thanks again guys..

You don't have that many miles on it, you shouldn't need to buy new brake pads right now.

Was it cold out? Were your brakes wet? Sometimes the pads will squeal if its wet and/or cold out and go away once they warm/dry up.

When the brakes need to be replaced, the squeals will never go away.

could be your E-brake dragging, just because the the light isn't on doesn't me it hasn't gotten stuck. its cable driven soo its possible
