I live in a hot climate area, and you can't be driving around without the cooling system on. Since I drive everyday, I use it frequently. I was wondering how often I should get a service for it.
I'm assuming they just check for any leaks and stuff like that, and don't replace the freon that has been used?

In a closed-loop cooling system (like the car A/C), the refrigerant(what you call Freon even though its no longer used) should not get "used" up at all -- you don't spend the refrigerant.Originally Posted by NewGuyG35
