For the very few that would be sold, it is definitely not worth the r&d costs(and losses) asscoiated with building the kit. Most people are not into tuning these cars like the old ones, & the 07+ make decent power in factory form. If you want 400hp(crank), you should have bought a 335i(I am not being a smart a$$ just being honest).

i'd say give it a couple more years. hopefully R&D is being further explored for this engine platform especially since it is utilized in a similar form in the 350z's right now.

Since the vq35hr motor is going to stop being put into the 350z and we'll most likely be getting the vq37hr on most of the cars, i doubt there is any interest in doing r&d for an engine that will most likely only have 2 years worth of development.

from what i understand, the vq35hr and the vq37hr aren't two completely different motors. The 37 has the VVEL technology and is bored out for the extra .2 liters...I don't see why a company couldn't slightly modify their FI kit to fit both motors. Personally I don't think it's that daunting of a task

I agree, I think its more of a component placement and fitment issue for the 07+ G35 sedan. I assume it wouldn't take much to tailor fit a 2007+ 350Z FI kit for a G35 since they share the same platform. The engine bay real estate is similar to the Z, from what I have seen.

An FI kit is already available from GTM for 15k installed and tuned (fcon) and a Greddy TT kit will be available as well. There is no information as far as Supercharging on the horizon.
