Need Help removing steering wheel
hi, i have a 2007 g35 sedan, and i'm trying to take out the steering wheel cause i did an alignment and the steering wheel is out of place. There is this one screw that is giving me a hard time. If you guy know where can i get the tool or how to remove it that will be great. Here are the pictures

That's a dealer installed anti theft airbag bolt. You either need to go to the dealer and try to talk them into taking it off for you (the dealers I went to wouldn't do it), or carefully drill it out and replace it with a standard tamper proof torx bolt.
I believe if you order the $10- anti-theft airbag bolt, it comes with the tool.
Can anyone confirm?
It may be cheaper to buy another bolt than to ask the dealer to remove it.

i assume that each is keyed differently ? u might want to confirm this.... if not the just buy a bolt n key but a dealer who puts this on should be required to provide you with the key.. you cannot sell a person a car with wheel locks w/o the key.. doesnt make sense.
You can order the bolt, but it does not come with the tool. You can order that bolt for $10, and the dealer will install it for you. To get the tool you must order the master set of key bits from Nissan, and it's almost $1000 (last time I checked).
I got mine out by drilling a hole in the center (as close to the center as possible) that is big enough to fit one of the ends of small locking pliers into. If you try to grab the bolt alone, the pliers just slip of because of its conical shape. The hole gives you something to grab onto and turn. If you can get the dealer to take it off, go that route... it is real hard to drill through these things, and they are usually put on pretty tight with loc-tite!

You should not re posistion the steering wheel to correct the alignment issue.
You should take it back to the alignment shop and have them correct the issue with the alignment. They made an adjustment to your TOE setting, and only adjusted it on one side, that is why the steering wheel is off center. TOE adjustments should be made evenly on both sides so that the steering wheel does not get off center.
A good proper alignment shop will test drive a car after alignment to make sure the steering wheel is not off center.
