Power source?

Hey im hardwiring my radar detector and am not sure where to tap in for power. Any recommendation? I got the clip that taps into a 15ish switched gauge wire but am not sure where to find one, any recommendations? I got the cable ran all the way to the mirror from the drivers side but am afraid of tapping into the wrong cable. Thanks for the help

Just get one of the 8" stealth cords, they're a sponsor and offer a discount for Driver members:

Well worth the money. I had a direct wire kit too, but ordered this to avoid the hassle of trying to tap into the wires. Took all of 2 minutes to install.

damn well I ended up taking it to the shop with my m25 jammer and got it all installed today. They did a pretty decent job, except for putting the switches under the steering column. One thing i noticed is that the red leds from the lights look sweet at night, maybe some color changing leds that go with my bass or something later on gonna start a thread tomorrow with some pics of the led heads and install. Had to cut slits in the bottom grill but i say its well worth it, barely noticeable to.
