Auto Up/Down Power Window and Volume Control.

Hey guyz, I've had this problem start up 1 week into owning the car. Now I am 8 months into it and still having the same issues.

Basically once a week the auto up feature of the front driver side window will not function. And the steering wheel mounted volume control to lower the volume does'nt work well, I bascially have to push it really hard for it to work.

When I first took the car in they said roll your window up and hold the window switch up for 3 seconds and it will reset it. Yea it fixed it..for a week!
They also fixed the volume control switch on the steering wheel too, but now Im back at the same problem.

Reccomendations and ideas as to why these issues?

I purchased my car used (20K miles) and the Auto Feature was not working..I had disconnected the battery to install my iPOD Kit but could not recall if it was working beforehand. I reset it per the instructions you state (and stated in the owners manual...Close Window and hold 3 seconds) and no problems since then (over three months). I dont think the volume and auto window up issues are related.....I presume the audio features are tied to the head unit that drives the audio/nav/infomation panel/diagnostics etc...and the power windows featues are mechanical in nature and are not tied to the head unit....have you had to disconnect the car battery recently? Just guessing....
