3,000 mile change myth?
#31
How can anyone really know that the manual specifies the optimum oil change interval?
3750?
Everyone always says....."oh yeah...these manuals are written by the engineers, so it must be correct."
Really?
Who do these engineers work for?
Who do the writers of the manuals work for?
And where do the majority of car owners that truly care about their vehicles go for oil changes?

Seems like following the recommended interval would be good for both the environment and your wallet no matter how you look at it.
