I have 31,000 miles on my 07 G35. Today, the display indicated that maint. was needed but the symbol was not for eithe oil, filter, or tire. Instead, the symbol was a silouette of a man. Anyone have any idea what type of service is required??

 

according to the dealer.. the 30k is suppose to be one of the bigger maintenance services :\

got to replace cabin microfilter which i think u can get online and do yourself

replace air filter

all the inspections

oil change

tire rotation/balance

Drain/Refill Trans (up to 4 quarts)

i had the 30k service done a couple of months ago. ANy idea what the misc. could be??

 

I had the 7500 done yesterday at Nissan.
They checked everything applicable under schedule 1 and checked the air filters at my request as this isn't required until 30k, handed me a report and charged me a whopping $37.
I actually could use the schedule 2 maintenance, so I'm thinking of going 7500 miles on this oil, and then using the schedule 1 checkup at 15000.

 

The owner actually sets the MISC pop-up setting if you have not set it it is just default, its not a warning or anything its just a preset mileage that can be set to remind you for serivce.
I have mine MISC set for every 15,000miles for checking and replacing "things"
