Was trolling on Ebay and I came across this. It claims to give 19 HP and funny thing is, it was showing G37 coupe pictures instead LOL.
Any techie people here please take a look if this some kind of BS or not.

It seems quite promising considering its make and construction, however for $1400, it does seem a bit on the high side, but if they put up a dyno which proves the 19hp gain (i doubt that it will be close to that) then it might be worth it plus the sound...
Again as usual, for each their own...
Also, it says that the pic of the G37 is for illustration purposes only, and they do have a sedan pic, so im pretty sure it is for the sedan, but they do not have many pics on hand. I have dealt with Amplified Motors(original site) before they are quite reliable.

yeah, I know for the fact that Borla used very good materials for their products, however; I would like to see an actual dyno test and sound clip

after having the stock y pipe cut out and not being able to see light coming out the other end and seeing just how much it bottle necks, i thought the same thing till i saw it close up first hand. And after having it removed, i do not think the stock exhaust flows that well considering the noticeable power i gained by just replacing the y pipe with an h pipe.

I emailed Borla about this last week:
Zachary:
Thank you for your interest in Borla products. Our systems will give you an increase in horsepower and torque of 5 – 7%. Unfortunately, we do not have dyno charts we can send you. We hope this helps!

Subject: General Question - Performance Statistics
I am interested in the Borla Exhaust for the 2008 G35 Sedan (Part # 140270). I would like to know if the company has any performace numbers available (HP increase, Torque, etc). I would really like to see some dyno charts if they are available.
Thanks, Zackary

The design looks nice i.e. better than the Stillen.

The mandrel bends are great, but I'm not a fan of slip joints. For the $$, they should have them flanged.
