Instructions for removing driver's side keyhole cover; Give a real clean look:

1st - Locate the black cap on the inside of the driver's door (see pic)

Attachment 92497

2nd - Pop off cap; locate hex screw; difficult I know:

Attachment 92498

3rd - Use 5/32" hex rench to unscrew bolt (won't fall into door; has a saftey lip)

Attachment 92499

4th - Pop off keyhole cover (forgot to take pic); replace with new cover (also forgot to take pic)! Should look like this when done:

Attachment 92500
does that cap on the side of the door just pry off from the edges?

Yes, it just pops off, you don't need to do it like this thread.
Check the DIY section, there's a thread in there

yes i know about that method but I want to do it the right way so I dont scratch anything. i am talking about the cap on the side of the door, not the actual keyhole cover.

when you get the pictured clip undone, make sure to slide the cap off towards the rear of the car. there are two little tabs at the back of the cover that hold it onto the mount.

just did the install...was very easy.

unfortunately, when i was tightening the bolt on the side, my hand stopped working and i dropped the allen key down the door!

i have a magnetic snake I am going to try, if not, i guess teh door panel has to come off.

its still in my door and rattles like a b*tch. The door panel is coming off tomorrow. Just hoping I can access it with the panel off.

took me about 45min-hour to take off the panel and put back on. Actually very easy compared to other door panels i have taken off.
