Spring Installation Instructions - Where are they.

Hey, my springs did not come with instructions. Not a huge problem but I wouldn't mind reading a DIY or something just to skim through for some tips specific to our car or something. I'm fairly positive I saw a DIY thread somewhere, does anyone know where it's at? I've searched a bit for it and can't find it, don't remember if it was on the 07 Tech section or down in the susp. section....

Thanks.

They'll be going in tomorrow evening. I'm leaving the house tomorrow at 8 am to drop the car off at the exhaust shop for the Magnaflow X-pipe resonator and mufflers, should have it back by lunch, then in the evening, probably 6ish, we'll get started on the spring swap. I'm also getting a set of Berk HFCs as well.

I'm very paranoid about the finished look. I'm using the Tanabe springs that I ordered (based on the drop amt) before researching a lot and I've seen some cars that it looks great on and others that were so-so. I did hear the general consensus is they ride pretty good, so I'm going to give them a shot. If they don't work out the way I want, then I'll sell em and get some Teins or something.

Sway bars are on, wheels are here and front tires are here, just waiting on the rear tires, should be tomorrow or Thurs. I hope to have the wheels on by Friday evening. A lot done in a single week's time....

That's about all I currently have on my project list. Time to look for some new things.... lol

haha very nice...i think probably next week i'll have my new rims/tires on. then i will be having my headlight housing painted black, and the grille nismo style glossy black to match, and also change out all the bulbs in the headlight.

I like the black painted grills, but don't think it'd look very good on the LP car. What's different on the 'nismo' style? I also like the headlight / taillight overlays but again, not sure they'd fit on the LP car. Tint just got put on today. I'd also like to hear an honest review of a strut bar; don't want one for cosmetics but if they help handling, i'd sure like one. I might just try an under car brace first.

what wheels did you go with?

m45 19's....i have a blueslate, not LP. the nismo style is the top and bottom horizontal chrome bar on the grille are left chrome, and the rest are painted glossy black, and the emblem is left chrome as well.

Plan to start very early for installing spring. I just did it this weekend and it took me the whole 8 hours The front one is tricky to get out and you will need a friend to help you out. Tools are very important. Make sure you have spring compressor and power tools. Some of the nuts and bolts are really tough to open... At least the car looks really good now though. Good luck !
