KP Technologies VDC Traction Module

Has anyone installed one of these? I'm wanting to do one but I'm not all that familiar with the int. of our cars, not sure what wire to tap into and where to find it. Do these modules come with car-specific instructions?

Any input is appreciated.

PS - I was also thinking about doing the electronic beep module as I hate the horn, but it looks like it has a lot of wires in it...

ultimate modder, not really, but I like to tinker. I think terry has the 'ultimate' thing covered... hehe However, everything I touch turns up modded out or setup... my quads, my cars, my trucks...

there's sooo many things I want to do but I'm holding back hard as my past vehicles end up with wires running EVERYWHERE, stereo cables everywhere, parts everywhere. I mean, they're clean but it gets to the point I don't have room to run another wire, or everytime I need to get underneath something, i have to get around something I installed... motor parts here and there.... I'm trying really hard to keep it easy on this one.

My goal for this car was I wanted good handling with decent performance using stuff that can easily be removed, and if I can save a little cash (like the exh.) along the way, I'll do it. I came sooooo close to pushing the button on the G37 brake upgrade, like on the screen, click purchase and just took a deep breath and closed the window.

Anyways, that horn module just looks too invasive for me to use on this car but this VDC thing drives me nuts. Worst part is, I have too much stuff on order that I'm waiting on. Think I'm about done tho.....

Yeah I've definitely noticed from your monster truck thread that you like to trick out stuff, which is awesome. What exactly does this VDC module do?

the VDC module is just a deal that that goes inline on the VDC switch (3 wires) and remembers the last setting. basically, if you turn the VDC off, it'll stay off until you turn it back on, even if you turn the car off then back on, it'll remain off until you push the button again.

never done the VDC mod, but i did do the window role up from KP Tech.
good product, easy to work with and talk to the designer and owner of the company.

i know what u mean about wanting to change every thing. i would LOVE to get my hands on the source code to the operating system in the nav unit.

i have a long list of "why the **** did infiniti do it that way"
