that's pretty sweet. they just used a little mini ball-valve type deal so they can open it up and close it as needed. I like that. these guys don't really appear to be the most mechanically inclined but they got the job done... lol

on our cars, is there just a simple coolant line going to each TB like that one? it's not feeding anything so when you close it off, it doesn't hurt anything?

looking on Motordyne's website, i don't see the bypass kit they're referring to... guess I'll just have to find the little valve myself.

found one on Grainger's site for $5.45 and it's rated for 450psi. Looks to be the same one used in that vid.

Now, I just need to know what hose to use. I haven't been out to the car to look for it, but if someone wants to throw a pic of it up, I'll be sure to look at it...

Edit: Also, just thinking here. What's the chances the coolant runs to one TB, then to the other, then back into the motor, so that valve could be sufficient.

Hey! All Fella G. I was dying to get JWT or Injen CAI but after reading
this article

https://g35driver.com/forums/tech-07...e-reflash.html

and now i'm not sure if these two choice will have the same result with Fujita. If so that's Su*k.Waste money for just the sound and lose power
I have already put back my stock since i've read other article about our stock intake VS aftermarket and totally feels better power after replace to stock.Hmmm...
I was thinking to get JWT and now i'm confuse!!!
What you guy thinking? any idea?
However thanks to user id: 07 g35s sedan for being honest!!

In my Trans Am, I just bypassed the TB (No valve).

The only point of a valve is if you have freezing winters. But, you could always just "un-bypass" it for winter.

If you have all the parts, it's like a 10 minute job.

I'm pretty sure the coolant does run from the radiator to the TB and back to the radiator, I don't think your engine relies on its flow for cooling.

Here's a TB bypass kit for a Trans Am. It doesn't have to be complicated. And you can buy all the parts at the local parts store. Just two plugs (for the TB), and adapter and clamps to hold the hoses on the adapter. 5 minute job.

I just need someone to point out which hoses it is. I looked last night when I was putting the cables in and there does appear to be a couple hoses routed towards it with a cast fitting going to into what appeared to be the base of the TB, but I'm not positive so I think I'll wait to cut them.

Here's some more info:

http://www.chevyhiperformance.com/te...mod/index.html

22hp from TB bypass, free cold air (cutting out some plastic to get colder air to the intake), EGR delete (exhaust gas recirculation..... basically emissions crap), and a pulley. The pulley is good for about 5hp of that.
