True, true..... I Love having the arrows, but having a radar makes me feel like I CAN drive faster, so i do.... Needless to say, I got 2 tickets in 1 month, darn lasers and instant on radars.... Oh well, works great on the highway though

you have to drive 'good' with a new radar detector for a month or so until you get to 'know' it and learn to know what it's telling you. Once your familiar with a radar detector, you can determine what threats exist and at what level.

You have the yellow invisicord probe in the wrong place. Put it in brown if its 2008. Put it in pink/black if its 2007.

Sorry to bring up an old thread - I plugged the 'hot' wire into the gray slot and it powered on as well. The only difference between the brown and the gray wire was that the voltage reading on my Solo S2 - 12.5V vs 12.7V respectively. Thoughts?

For 2008 model, Invisicord installation goes as follows:

Put the yellow colored invisicord probe into brown. Put the black color invisicord probe into black.

For 2007 model, Invisicord installation goes as follows:

Put the yellow colored invisicord probe into pink/black. Put the black color invisicord probe into black.

Works perfectly as I've done it both in my 07 and 08.

thanks!

Holy crap!! That is easier, cleaner and cheaper than I would have ever imagined. I think I am going to get a detector now.
