Hardwire V1 2008 Sedan?
I haven't, i used the stealth cord, but essentially the idea is the same. Tap into the closest 12v wire you can find that turns on when the car does.... So if you want to use the wires that came with the V1, you can just tap into those same wires coming from the mirror, except you can pull down the roof panel and tap it in there if you dont want to do it behind the mirror...
Any reason you don't want to get a stealthcord? Where are you planning to mount it.

I bought a long telephone cord and ran the wire thru the headliner down the a pillar under the dash thru the center console and into the arm rest where i plugged it into the cigg lighter.
pretty easy and only took about 20 min to do the whole thing...chek the link

Thanks guys, my last resort was to make the stealth cord i took down my headliner yesterday but had no luck in finding a 12v power source. So just wanted to ask you guys a see if anyone had anyluck of a power source by the sunroof area?
im telling you just do what i did and you can remove it whenever you want...unplug and plug into any car....no need hfor hardwiring

You can also run it to the fuse box and purchase a $5-6 adapter at any auto store that will allow you to piggy back the power cord to the fuse box. I've done this on many cars and just used the cig lighter fuse.
