A/C going hawire??

this isn't a tech question but a question and curiosty for all members. is anybody getting rattling (really loud) from their A/C. I.E. ill turn the car on after it's been on (warm start) and sometimes the rattle comes on. In order to turn it off I turn my A/C on and it goes away. Im just wondering if anybody else is experiancing this retarded issue with their car.doughboy

Same issue here.... It is really random and the dealer has yet to replicate the issue. I have it on video and tried to get them to fix it based on what is on the video and they still wouldn't do anything about it.

i can replicate it everytime. turn your car on drive around, turn the A/C on. then turn the car off with it on. wait 5-10 minutes then turn it back on and a rattle should come on, if not turn A/C on and set the fastest speed up and then turn the A/C off. That's how mine rattles....

It's becoming very common and I think there is a TSB on it. Take it to your dealer and they'll replace your A/C compressor.
