oil life
does the car have the computer calculate how long the oil life is?
when i go to the maintenance menu in the dash, it eithers reset or set mileage, but no way to tell the % of the oil life/leve like the other cars do?

Nope,
GM and BMW are the only companies that I know of who give an oil life percentage.
You need to read your owners manual and decide what maintenance schedule you fall under, then change your oil accordingly.
