Thoughts on wheel widths.

Hi Borna ... with camber in-spec, I have 10" with 285 on my car right now. With the this combination, there is no way to go further on the inside without modifying the rear suspension. There is bolt head on the lower trailing arm that is about 1/4" from my tire on the inside.
You can gain maybe another 1/4" by changing bolts heads or maybe by stretching the tire. You can also get more clearance by adding more camber. With 11" wheels, you might have to do all three.
The only place to add another 1" of wheel width with camber in-spec is to go outside the fender. Or widebody?

Widebody huh?
Lol no widebody for me. At least not yet.
I was actually going to PM you but it slipped my mind.
I'm going to be going with 20x8.5 +35 front and 20x10 +42 (or +45) rear with 245/35 and 275/35 tires. I'll be using H&R springs to lower the car.
I know that with those offsets I won't be able bring the camber exactly back to spec but from researching and looking at many other member's cars I figured these offsets would give an aggressive look while still keeping my tires from being eaten away by camber wear.
Any thoughts on whether to go for +42 or +45 offsets for the rears?
Thanks

I'll PM him tomorrow and double check.
You make it sound like I'm going super aggressive lol
I'm only going a few mm's more aggressive than your set up.
I was thinking of +30 front and +40 rear before IvoryPearl07G added spacers up front but I spoke with him and he said that he had rotate his tires at around 10k miles.
I'd do the same but I'm looking at some high performance tires which can't be rotated which also happen to cost a pretty penny.
That's why I decided for something that is basically in between your set-up and his.
Thanks Terry.

hey Borna<
Ya IvoryPearl07G has a nice setup. I PM'ed him about his rims becasue i like them a lot but im getting the forged versions of his. They are a lot lighter and better quality. I've herd so many bad things about sevas that it freaks me out lol
but i saw u want tires up to 245/35 and 275/35
thats to high bro, you'll slow your car down
it has to be at least 245/35 and 275/30
but if u wanna do what im doin which is for more aggressive look
go 245/30 and 275/30...makes the car look sexy as hell lol
the stock diameter of the stock wheels is 26.7 and 275/35 is 27.6 which will make you 3.4% slower so if your goin 60 your really going 62. i know it sounds like your goin faster cuz the numbers ahead but its not lol

Woops, I meant 275/30. I knew there was something wrong with that lol
Do you know the diameter of the stock front sport wheels?
And if you don't mind posting up the differences between the stock front and the 245/35's and also the 245/30's along with the 275/30 rears?
I can't calculate that stuff at all lol

No problem bro
Sport
Front Tire Stock: 225/50/18 , D. 26.9"
New Front Tire: 245/35/20 , D. 26.8" which is 0.4% Faster than stock , 60mph = 59.8mph
New Front Tire: 245/30/20 , D. 25.8" , which is 4.0% Faster than stock , 60mph = 57.6mph
Rear Tire Stock: 245/45/18 , D. 26.7"
New Rear Tire: 275/30/20 , D. 26.5" which is 0.7% Faster than stock , 60mph = 59.6mph

well the thing about it is that our cars our rear wheel drive, which will be running at stock diameter. The front just follows and doesnt affect the speed. so you'll be just fine bro lol
if the car was awd then there is a problem and it was fwd thats also a problem. but since we are rwd then we are just fine
just dpends if you want that extra aggressive look lol
