I'm still hesitant but we will see. But thier feild tech did say something about the O2 sensors being to far from the exhaust stream??? Not sure what that means ther Berks use the stock location.. As I hear more today I will keep everyone updated.
The secondary O2 sensors (ones in the cats) are in the stock location. But that it besides the point. Even if I smashed the secondary O2 sensors it cannot cause a performance issue. The feedback control system of the ECU does not take the secondary O2 sensors into account for air/fuel/spark. It ESPECIALLY doesn't take the secondary O2 sensor readings into account when calculating shift points.

Thanks for staying on top of this. I'm just as curious as you to know what the dealer "fixed" on the car. Keep us updated when you get the car back.

Cheers,
Bryan

Ok guys just to repart a little from Wendsday the dealer called this morning and said they drove it again and nothing car drove fine. I will be going out there on Sat AM to drive it. I will be very shocked if it's fixed. I can not see why the HFC's would have caused all this? I have modded a many of cars and never seen a issue with just HFC'S.. We will see Saturday..

It probably was. Hopefully not, b/c thats some bad news for the community but alot of us here in DFW have had nothing but problems with auto's and HFC's.

maybe they figured outthe problem was something else and fixed and then blamed your HFC's so you wont be mad about the time they took and stuff... MAYBE!

Doesn't make sense why Berk HFCs would only cause issues for some people. ANMVQ has an 08 G35X-S and Earth0 has an 08G35X. Earth0's works and ANMVQ's fails.

Crazystand: i wonder too.Mine was great at all time since firstday reset ECU after completed setup.Car run better than stock, sound better, deeper and allowed higher RPM.I will try to take some video...let see.
I guess we all gonna have to wait for CSquare.Anyway i don't think this will cause ploblems with transmission issue if so we ploblably see it happended with G37 already.
Since most of them using HFC.

Really? I don't know right now sometimes when the RPS are low such as when i'm cursing along in 5th and i mash the gas, the car bogs for a sec then launches, as it finds out there is no power down there then shifts and rips my head off from the acceleration.

I thought of that also, But if it was and they just blamed the HFC's I will never know. I will not put these back on my car either way. I can't affored to have them reinstalled just to see. My car is a DD and I have very little free time let alone a 2-5hr block to swap them back in and teat drive the car and if it does it remove and go back to the stock. The dealer I went to is very mod friendly as even the service manager when a first dropped the car off said the HFC's would not be a problem, they have seen a lot of modded G's before..So we will see tomorrow when I go test drive the car?? But either way I'm selling my Berks..

i dont' know, i mean if it is your HFCs maybe your have a set of defective HFcs, maybe sending back to Berks for a refund or compensation/warranty work is better than to potentially screw over someone else right?

From: Waltham Ma,
I don't think there are defiective unless I was screwed by the person I bought them from. I got them from My350z.com. I used to have a Z and still check in over there. I was told he did not like them becasue they were to loud( Metalic sound) so I can not return them to Berks unless the want to do something for me seeing a got them second hand. But maybe there is just an issue with these on autos. I will tell anyone how is interested in these the exact reason why I am selling them. An if the do not sell then they don't but I certainly will not lie to sell them I would not wish what I went through on anyone. The were a few times were myself or my wife could have been seriously hurt and I would not want to be the cause of someone getting into accident.

Straight up respect for that man! i hope you get over everything that happened and just learn something from the experience and move on with it, and yes i would never even think about putting the HFC's back on once the problem is confirmed to be fixed to avoid delear problems. Good luck bro!

Ups mesed up so i'm getting them on Friday and so I'll be installing on Tuesday. One thing did happen to me today. When inwas in 5th going around 40 I think I mashed the pedal but not all the way. I think that messed up the tcu because the car started to rev like crazy ( like it was in neutral ) for like 2 secs then I released the gas and smashed the pedal again then it shifted and whipped my neck back. Is it like that for you when you go wot?
