Posts: 91 We have better luck with our HFC's because we've always included a permanent non-fouler fix on all of our HFC's. The others are playing catchup and are now copying our design.
One caveat that nobody wants to tell you is that there is no 100% guaranteed CEL fix for these cars. Even with the OEM cats in place cars will throw the occasional CEL. Your chances of CEL go up when you put our high flow cats. The HFC's are much more free flowing than the stock units and just don't scrub the exhaust gas as well as the OEM cats do.

they did do nothing for me i called and asked for advice they gave me no help and no posiable solution. I then call tony and he was more than willing to help. I don't call that biased it is fact.
You guys are my customers, and without you I would be out of a job. I treat every one with the respect and the dignity that you deserve. It pains me to rain on people's parade when I tell them that CEL free operation isn't absolutely guaranteed, but that is the truth, and the truth isn't always what everyone wants to hear.
If you or anyone else calls us, we'll give you all the advice that we can. Advice is always free! We run our operation lean and mean over here so we don't always have the time to chat with you guys on the forums. Shumby if there's something that we can do to make things feel right with you I"m all ears.

From: Waltham Ma,
NOPE.. they are slacking.. I called them yesterday afternoon and they said they were having problems removing a stud?? I hope they tell me today. Although I think it will do nothing.. I called Brian at Berk yesterday also and he told me they have a few autos with their cats including a G37 auto and they have no issues at all. He and I spoke for a long time( Much props to him for taking his time with me) about the issue I'm having and it sounded to him like myself that there maybe a fuel or spark issue and nothing to do with the tranny. The spitting and bucking the car does sounded to him, maybe a coil issue but that would throw a CEL, I guess the biggest question is why is the car running so sh&ty with no CEL.. I hope to have a update today. But definitly not an exhaust issue.
This is the most real serious hesitate.....i ever heard. This is nut!!! They take so long time and haven't got any idea what is going on.If Berk confirmation is real...I hope di Infiniteeee not gonna tear apart your car before they realized.

How much more could they tear apart, They have have replaced, the fuel pump, both MAF's, the valve body,TCM, and tried removing the rear O2 sensors, and resetting the ECU and the self learn, Oh and did a forget to mention the painted front bumper and replaced drives side head light..
Hell I don't even want the car anymore...

It's not a tranny issue fi you ask me..

See I don't understand it, Why don't the techs at infiniti know how to take off the cats? I've read so many threads about how the people at infniti have broken the sensors or bolts....

From: Waltham Ma,
I wish I knew.. The mechanic that instaleld them is just a local shop owner, and never touched a 08 Infiniti in his life. The tech at Infiniti is the shop foreman.. LOL and he breaks the studs..
the reason they break is because of the huge build up of rust, penetrate the studs and bolts with a lubricant 2-3days before you actually replace your cats, spraying the lubricant every day and you should be fine. Just dont be scared to see the lubricant burn off when the exahust gets hot, bu it really gets everything loose and easy to remove in my experience!
