From: Waltham Ma,
Well just called Infiniti and ask about them buying back the car and getting me a new one. I also told them I have made two car payments without having my car. They said someone will be calling me back by the end of the day tommorow. So we will see..

ANMVQ...

I feel you pain bro -- i had three trannies replaced in my brand new 2002 Acura TL-Type S and it sat in the shop for > 2 months (total over 1.5 years) and they finally lemoned it and put me in my 2004 TL in late March 2004...

Oh, and I had comptech headers, exhaust, intake, underdrive pulley -- and Acura never thought that was the reason for the tranny failures...

This is ridiculous -- you need a new car if they can't fix this in the next week.

BBB Autoline is your friend.

Hey Guys I will know tomorrow whats up the Infiniti rep called me on Friday and told me me she would be in contact with the dear Monday. So hopefully she has good news.. Man three trannies thats just craziness..I would have flipped. I have only had to bring the car back once been in the loaner the whole time..As long as they don't pull the HFC's into it I will be happy..

From: Waltham Ma,
Just keeps getting better, They tried a Fuel pump and that did not work either, Now i get a call yesterday the the dealers parts driver hit my car with the plow truck Now it needs a front bumper and drivers head lamp The dealer of course is paying for that but now I have a brand new car that has been hit and still is not fixed.. I will be pushing Infiniti for a new car today when they call me.. Man I really can't get mad at the dealer or the service manager but this is getting rediculous,,

Dude,

You TOTALLY should be getting a new car now .. you'll have mismatched paint now, your car still isn't fixed.... um, I would get onto the autoline BBB now and start filling out your application. You'll need all records of all attempts at fixing the car, but you can save your application incomplete and keep adding info later.

I have a feeling they'll fight you on getting a new G... but that's no surprise. If they do, keep taking your case higher up the ladder to Nissan/Infiniti of North America... i've been through the process and it's a pain in the...

Wow regardless of the fact that they are "trying" to figure out the problem they are taking too long wasting your money on your payments, your time and have now depreciated the value of your car by hitting it with a plow. BE firm but nice when you talk to them next time and simply state that what you want now is a new G and then see what they say and take it form there...

(side note: amamzed that these SAE Smarty techs cant find it in over a month, while i bet a private shop with a regular mech would have found the problem... anyways)

From: Waltham Ma,
I was firm but and nice when I spoke to then a few hours ago. The service manager accually told them they hit the car with the plow.. So I just touched on the fact that I gave them a car that was brand new with 1800 miles and if they ever fix it they will be giving me back a car that has been in a accident and the fact is has been close to 12 weeks. So I pushed a little more on just getting me a new car. She told me they will have a decision for the arbitrator on Tues of next week. AH what's another week with the loaner. I will bee upset if this isnt resolved be the 25th, My third payment and no car..
