I hate it when dealers drag their feet or act like they don't know what your talking about. You definitly get that mf'er in that car and duplicate the problem for him; then hear what he has to say. My '06 has the compression rod (strut rod) problem and so far all they have done is lube the bushings. It goes in for the second time tomorrow; but when I first told them about the problem and that there was a TSB for it he acted like I didn't know what I was talking about.

(didn't mean to hijack thread)

From: Waltham Ma,
No problem man you did'nt. But isnt there a TSB for the shuttering under 40MPH.?? Something to do with the cruise control and the ECU haing to be reflashed?? I'm hate that I have to drive all the way out there again to show them the issue. I showed them the issue the first time. They tried to say it was my O2 sendor and charger me cause the wires had a small cut in the shielding( Saying the install of my HFC's was casue this). The O2 was not even bad. I had them give me the old on and took it to my buddys shop, tested it and it was fine. So I paid $330 for nothing and I still have the same issue. I have not told that to them yet I will proably drop that on them tomorrow after I duplicate the issue again for the second time.

From: Waltham Ma,
There is but I do not trust Herb Chambers. Hell the car I traded for the G I bought from them(Chambers) and they would not sell me a G. They told me it was like $200 more a month than what I am paying now. It sux cause the other dealer is like a 8 minute drive from me.. It's a real lomg story but I will NEVER buy or lease another car from Chambers..

From: Waltham Ma,
Ok guys just got back from the dealer and YUP it did it right away. We pulled out of the lot went about 50 yards I pressed the gas about 65-70% down and the car sputtered and buck all over the place I looked at the tech and he face was like I could not get it to do that!! So i did it a couple more times and even went into a parking lot and slowed the car down to like 10MPH and stepped on it and it did it again . So we went back to the dealer we talked to the service manager( Very nice guy BTW) and he said the will get back on the phone with tech line on Monday. All in all I like the dealer but man I wish they were closer the 90 min round trip is a killer.. LOL

Wow, 90 minutes ... I know this is after the fact, but would a Nissan dealership be able to do the warranty work?

Yeah glad to hear it, I've never really had problems with infitini customer service and it sounds like they are going to take care of you. My dealer finally ordered new parts for my compression rods, so Im getting fixed too

No sure the sputter and bucking is a real hard thing to explain. You car hear the engine sputtering out the exhaust. It almost feels like a enigine issue. Like the spark is breaking. The exhaust pops and spits. So we will see this week. Yea the dealer is really trying to take care of my the filled my car up for free and gave me a gas slip to fil the loaner.

Nice nice, okay, I have no idea. Tell them to give you a new engine lol. Make sure they put in one that says 3.7 VVEL on it though.
