Big Problem

So my sun/moon roof won't close and I don't know why...

I pressed the button to send it back so I could get some fresh air, and it went back normally. Then I pressed it forward to get it to shut, but it went too far forward. It is in the position for "smokers"...where it is tilted upwards and everytime I press the button for it to shut it does nothing...

Any Ideas how to fixx it, b/c it is already below freezing and I dont have a garage to pull into at the moment...

Thanks ahead of time

Chris Cary

Just to cover all the bases, did you try to hit the open button (since this is actually how you close it from that tilted up position). If so, then look on page 2-52 in the owners manual for a way to reset the sunroof. Hopefully that will work for you.

Edit: That page is for 08 models, so yours will probably be different.

Is it moving at all (can you hear the motor)? If not you might check the fuse. That sucks, especially since you can't get it out of the weather.

Mine did the same thing...screw came loose. Had to go to the dealer for an oil change and they fixed it in a few minutes.
