K guys, finally brought it in last week to the dealer. Here's what they did, what I did, and what I think it was....
The dealer, just as I expected, said they didn't notice anything but went to remount and balance the wheels anyways (the stock 17's) figuring that may be the problem.
Around the same time, I went for a realignment (somewhere else) and since then, I haven't felt a thing.
so, here's what I'm thinking....
When I lowered the car, I immediately aligned it. The vibration was getting progressively worse since around the time of lowering which was pretty much when I bought my car. I know as a "rule of thumb" that when lowering, you should wait a couple of weeks for the suspension to settle in. The guy convinced me to just do it there and then and it wouldn't be an issue...for the price he did it for, I told him go for it.
So I figure the car, as it "settled in", became out of alignment somewhere, due to prematurely aligning, thus wobble/vibration, or maybe I smacked a pothole somewhere that kicked the alignment out.
Currently, my rear end is lifted (stock springs) and my front is still dropped. Why the lift you ask? I wanted to know if the wobble was due to the dump in the rear as it's our rear end that does the sensing on when to distribute power forward, (AWD and VDC all relative to the rear). I got kind of used to the raked forward look and am considering leaving it (not 100% sure yet though). I'll wait for the summer rims to get the big picture.
So, my fellow G boys, nothing to worry about, seems like an alignment issue. I'll update you if there's anything else on it.

Glad it is working better for you.
So no more wobble.
What caused it, since you changed most of these things at the same time.:
-wheel balance
-the alignment
-dropping the X (rear)
How about a pic just to see how she looks with the hot rod rake

^soon I promise (the pics)
honestly gee, i'm thinking the re-alignment. I regret not asking for the before and after alignment values but seems like all's good now.

to lower:
^install springs (and camber kit if you choose to buy one), wait 2 weeks for settle in, then align it. that's it.
wheel balancing is not required here at all.
