Does the new impact sensor work on 07-08 G's?

I see that Inifiniti now offers an impact sensor for most of their models...

Does anybody know if it will work on our cars?

Thanks,

On the website it says it costs $130 extra on the new g37's.. I wonder if the alarm is different?

(From the Infiniti Website)
Vehicle Alarm Impact Sensor
• Sensors detect impact vibrations from a window breaking
• Vibrations trigger your vehicle's factory-installed alarm system

Our alarms only go Off when you open the drivers door. or any door. other than that it's useless!! Thats why I got a Top of the Line CLifford Paging system!

I was at the dealer yesterday and they have no clue.. it was kinda sad when they didnt even know the new g37 had this as an option.

I just hate the idea of having another key fob to carry around

Kool Yaar,

What is your set up like? Do you just carry around an extra fob? Do you manually have to set and deactivate the alarm or can you walk up to the car, press the button on the door handle, unlock the doors and deactivate the alarm as well?
