I drove about 3000 miles and thought a light would come on. It didn't. Then I heard from my friend that it's 5000 miles for the first oil change and I'm almost near it and was wondering if a oil change light would pop up? I know it does in my friend's M45.

I believe your maintenance notice will pop up at 3750 miles.

 

I don't think the maintenacne light comes on unless you set it? I did mu first LOF at 1500 miles. I usually do the first early toget ride of anything. And after that every 2500-3000 like clock work. But I'm a little nuts.. LOL

 

Need to set OC intervals in the maintenance function of the DIC ... dealer is supposed to do that with you on delivery.

It comes on at 3750, typically done by the dealer before you drive the car off the lot.
