Why would you want a Greddy exhaust? Plus, I think they filed for bankruptcy.

Yeah I think greddy is not in business at the moment, and if they are I don't think they are developing anything

what exactly do you mean by hissing?
if it sounds like a little blow off valve when shifting, then that is normal. almost all VQ's do that, and it's more audible when you have a cat back of HFC installed.
If it's something else then lmk.

If they are leaking you would see evidence of it as carbon tracks or blow by on the mesh or the body. Put the car on a rack and run it with someone under it. Plug the exhaust with a rag at idle and if there is a leak ANYWHERE, you will hear it.

lol jesus christ don't cut out your flex joints.

those who say aftermarket doesn't have it, take a look at some of the hks and fujitsubo exhausts for other cars. some omit it (they're being cheap on those) but a fair amount have flex joints.

I hear it when you let off the gas pedal. You sure there isn't a leak?

hahah this gave me a good laugh. dont cut the flex section. under the mesh, is accordian style piping. def not the culprit. id bet on a leaky gasket somewhere. possible bad/cracked weld

the "hiss" while revving down is normal. but if there's a rattle while accelerating then that's another issue.
