"VDC Off Light" and "SLIP" warning light.
I have an 07 g35x. Lately have been experiencing these 2 lights come on simultaneously and stay on while driving until I shut off car. They go away after restart of car. Seems to happen intermitently during medium to hard acelleration. Has anyone else had this problem or know what it could be? I havnt taken it to dealer yet but will asap. Also the emergency brake light has been lighting up intermitently but turns off after a few min. Strange huh? Anyone experience anything similar?

VDC and Slip lights coming on... usually a brake issue.
Search in the tech section and find tons of info on this. Following the results of my searching the forum, I replaced my rear pads, which in turn raises the brake fluid level back up where it should be and viola... no more lights.
I also called and spoke to the service advisor at my dealer. He confirmed what I found here. Usually a low brake fluid level, caused by worn pads.

Yes, but just filling it does not correct the problem the light is alerting you to.
When the light comes on, the brake fluid level is still above the lowest allowed limit.
Replace the pads.. the reason the brake fluid is that low. that's what the lights are alerting you to.

I had the same problem about a year ago and the dealership told me that it was the cam sensor. They also told me that the hard banging was damaging to the torque converter and further investigation showed that the tranmission had to be replaced.
After I recieved the car back I had to baby it for the first 1K due to the tranny wear in period. All was well until about two weeks ago. I dropped the car off today and the dealership told me that the second time around will have to be addressed from a NNA tech instead of a dealership tech. I guess they have grades or levels of experiences. we will find out and I will keep all of you posted. So don't feel alone when it comes to this. It seems that there is no concrete answer to the Slip, VDC Off, and Service Engine Soon lights coming on.
On a good note, the 370Z is awesome, I tested it out last night.
