Tread Wear - Bridgestone

I just hit 26K miles on my 07 G35 Sport 6MT and my tires are just about shot. Is this the normal tread life of these tires??? It sucks that I have put up new tires on a leased car.

driven conservatively, that's about right. i got about 28k on mine and the rears were pretty smooth on the outsides while the fronts were feathered on the insides. Potenzas RE050A's = the suck. vredesteins for cheaper and higher treadwear FTW!

26k is awesome. My rears were completely bald at 18k, but I drove pretty spirited.

I drive spirited 50% of the time. Fronts were shot at 25k and I'm at 29834 now on the rears. Needed rears yesterday LOL. I just lowered my car today on Eibachs so I'm giving it two weeks till I get new rears and alignment. I love Potenzas, they perform outstandingly to me. Sure I'd prefer to get 60k out of them but thats just not realistic.

I got 35k off my bridgestones and not by any means I drive like a grandma but 80% of the miles are all highway miles. I got pretty good life out of them. I had 2/32 of tread left on the rears and just replaced them last week.

Yep, but if you drive fast with the F1s they wear out as fast as the Bridgestones. I know because I have to buy New ones.

Currently 23k on my '07 G35S. Need to replace the tires soon. Dealership said $1200 for all 4 tires. What's the average price to replace all 4 tires? A local tire shop said its about $1160 for eagle f1s.

I've got them on my car and really like them. I read a LOT of people complaining that theirs are loud. Mine are NOT loud at all. I've had them for about 8k miles thus far. My Bridgestones lasted right at 26k before the rears were bald.

This thread has some pics of my Goodyear Eagle F1's on my car: https://g35driver.com/forums/picture...s-my-07-a.html

Edited to add: I paid $950 installed (tax included) for my set.

That's about right for grippy high-performance summer tires. Not bad at all.
