Battery Acid? Help!

Ok so I installed 8000K bulbs yesterday, took off the negative terminal and everything seemed fine. I went again today to take off the terminal to adjust one of the bulbs and there's a pink residue on both the + and - terminals. It was on the little nubs and the metal rings that get connected.

I brought the car in for service between yesterday and today. I have a Grounding Kit and the 8000K bulbs. Should I just wipe it clean as much as I can or is this an issue?

its not an issue, its very common,

u can have the dealer clean it for a small fee, $30 or so, or do it ur self.

you can get some bat terminal cleaner at autozone,

or just mix baking soda and water 50/50 and put it on the contacts, it will dissolve the pink stuff,

take apart the terminals and clean them with a brush and the baking soda solution. and then put back together.

here is a more in depth description of the same thing

After you clean them up use a little grease to seal them up
& it will help prevent the problem.

After it is cleaned you can use a spray. Can't recall what's called. It is basically puts a clear coat on electric conectors and keep the contact 100% or close to it. Can't corrode.

EDIT

Got in the garage and checked it.

Called "Off Guard" Electric clear coat spray. Works magic. I use it all the time when I work on electrical parts.
