low rpm, low mph surging / bucking

my car has 73k on it as of this morning... but going back to even when it has 25k on it if i was at partial throttle going at slow speeds (below50ish) the car would surge or buck a bit.. it doesnt happen all the time, but enough that it is annoying sometimes.. now, i rarely am driving like this, but ive always wondered why it does it. clean air filter, good gas, etc.. i suppose its more of a bucking that it gets. and it happens the most around 30mph or so when im barely pressing on the throttle and the road is completely flat so its not under a load condition. has anyone else ever had this issue?

search; for this others have stated same, I think the result was torque converter on the fence to lock up or not. I've noticed this on my ride also. Mine is bearly noticible IMO..... feels like slight but rapid rolling road condition.

hmm, torque converter issue? well if that turns out to be the case and i start getting serious troubles from it then ill just smash it into a tree and call it a total loss.

maybe the car wanted to be driven more aggressively at those points and 48K miles later, your ecu has gotten use to your driving habits and do not throttle as much.

yeah, i really dont think its a tranny issue. it feels like a fuel issue. i drive my car somewhat aggressively on a regular basis, so my guess was that the ecu is used to giving a higher demand of fuel, and when driving really easy its not handling such a light load properly.

I have the same problem, it still happens, cannot figure it out for the life of me. I even went to the dealer and wasted $70 for them to check it out. They drove it around, claimed it was a wheel balancing and that was it. I even realigned it. I thought it fixed it but it still happens occassionally.

If someone knows something for sure, chime in...i'd love to know!
