I then looked for the at/fluid return line from the radiator. I read that you can drain it here and it should drain an additional 5 quarts. The fluid should be dirty b/c the fresh fluid that you just replaced gets pumped to the rad to get cooled.
I read that it will drain slow but that's not what I found out. It dumped it on my floor again it's good to have someone help you here so one can replace the fluid as one collects on the bottom.

according to the manual the rear bolt should be the return from the rad. I traced it back to the radiator and it should be the upper line. Just unhook the clamp and slide the tube off. This is where I drained it. I m not sure why it all poured out so fast. the fluid that came out of here were very dirty so I assume that this is the correct line. If I had unhooked the AT/fluid line that goes to the rad the fluid should be cleaner b/c I had just replaced 5 qts in the pan.

another pic of the line. in this picture it's the top hose. this is under the car on the driver side where the rad is.

I replaced one quart at a time. I drained one, filled one, drained one, filled one till the fluid looked clean. I reconnected the line and started the car. I let it idle 5-10 mins and checked the level. I also checked for leaks at the bolt and at the return line. the 19mm hex drain bolt gets torqued down. I believe it was 25 foot /lbs. I will have to look this up.

F#$%W@ it's late. I have to go to work early. hope this will help. just be careful and take your time. it's takes longer to wipe the **** off the floor later. if you have questions i will try my best to answer them. night

This is a guide, not a diy. I need the forums' help. I want to make sure I don't give misinformation. This is how I did it and will continue to do it this way until I learn a better way.

I used a 10mm hex on the fill and the 1/2 inch drive fit perfect on the drain plug.

No I fap too much jokes here. The plugs getting a wash in the parts washer. The fill plug has a washer, not a crush one, so I reused it. You have to use rtv silicone here on the drain plug.

front differential by the oil filter. Make sure you undo the fill bolt before the drain bolt. I had trouble with the fill bolt.

I'm subbed. The differential plugs, what size are they? I know they are the inverted hex plugs (allen type), but are they 10mm?

the differential i used the 3/8 hex and it worked for me but it wan't perfect. the transfer case took 10mm hex for the fill plug and the drain i used the 1/2 inch drive from a wrench. i have a 2008 not sure if they are the same for your year.

Yeah, they are the same. I found it on the Diff DIY, the author stated that I need a 10mm hex. I will order one now. .
