Scuffed Bumper Brand New G35xS ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Whats up guys. Just got myself a new 08 IP G35xS about a month ago. Love it!!!! But just scuffed the damn bumper today. Im pissed. What do you think I got a quote to have it painted. The body shop said it will never look right if he just blends the small section since its ivory pearl. He needs to paint the whole bumper. $400 bucks. My friends say its not that bad and not worth the $400 bucks. I would think the same if it was like a year old not one month. Any suggestions????

Leave it or fix it........ Or maybe someone has heard different about the blending process??? Or maybe just get some touch up paint????

Sure, try the touchup first; why pay the $400 now when the front bumper takes abuse like stone chips and maybe some more scuffing. It's not going to be perfect if you look at it up close but it will look better than it does now.

An aftermarket lip would cover that up!

Definitely check into local shops that do touch up jobs. That looks like an easy job for these type of guys who repair dents, scratches, etc. Most of them are mobile so they will even come to you to do the work.

1)My wife scrapped up my r/s front bumper on the bottom from grabbing a curb while parking
2) i touched it up and it blends nicely from over 5ft away if you don't know about it
3) found a guy that works for another dealership's body repair shop. He paints stuff on the side and it gives me a reason to fix the hundreds of chips on the front without using touchup- he will fix the scuff, sand down old paint, and completely repaint the bumper for 100 bucks. and that includes removal and installation.

shop around for guys in body shops that do work on the side. If he is on the clock, they charge dearly for it, like, insurance prices dearly.
