It's very simple and let me break it down for you. IF someone comes to me and say, I want my headlights painted black, I'd say ok and quote them the price. With the way you are arguing, it's as if I should say NO. Someone's already done it.

I've made it a point to create my own product, being a sponsor the least I can do is let people know they can get the same product for much less than lead to believe it's worth.

Spend your money how you want. I'm not losing any money with you being a troll I can tell you that much.

 

Actually, he doesn't need his own idea... A customer comes to him with an idea, any idea, and he makes it happen. That's the way it should be. It's not custom anymore if he makes the same design and product for everyone. Even if they have a great product, I can't say the same for clearcorners.com... They recently told me they won't do projector retrofits and other types of custom headlight work.

Well bringing the thread back to the product, how does the LEDS hold up to the heat created by our xenons, Like in the CC product there is a hell load of LEDS right on the Projector housing that would get extremely hot if you have the beams on.

First of all...how or where someone advertises..means absolutely nothing to the quality of the product. If you are trying to prove a point about IGT and his products, talking about his advertisment has no case in your point. Its like saying "yeah well your products suck because you have gray hair"

Second...neither one of them are copying someone. Unless the item is trademarked or patented, theres no argument against it unless its something EXTREMELY UNIQUE. There is somewhat of an argument, but you cant say IGT is a copy-cat for painting a headlight..just because another company does that. then your talking about 70% of businesses out in the world.

But like he said...his work is custom ordered. if someone says i want this done...hes gunna do it...even if it looks EXACTLY the same as something else. Put yourself in that position...would u tell a customer to go somewhere else if they asked u for something, just because its similar to something another company made? no i dont think so.

Third...price has nothing to do with quality. Yeah it happens more expensive items are better...but not all the time. you cant sit there and judge someones work because its cheaper. The point was proven earlier with the porsche vs GTR comment...yeah it can be argued...lets say hypatehtically the GTR is faster....are u an idiot for paying 80K? is it crap cuz its cheaper?

 

I agree, IGT delivers what the customer wants at a fraction of a cost, no problems there, i actually appreciate it like many others, so lets just cut this bashing please.

Price is never an indication of quality when talking about 'labour' jobs....it comes down to what a person thinks is fair to charge the customer.

The same person can charge $10 or $100 for the same job....do you think that there will be a difference in quality??? NO. because at the end of the day there is no product involved, it is a service that the person will offer at probably the same quality regardless of the price being charged.

That being said, if the products used in the mods can be compared, then there might be a slight difference, but in this case LED's are really dirt cheap.

For all the people like "IvoryGT" that supply mods at reduced prices....god bless you :-) and if the boys down south don't appreciate you, you are more than welcome here up north....
