looks like it can be done, the question is who's willing to try it first? Lots of people don't feel comfortable breaking their headlights open....

It actually shouldn't be that hard. You just gotta figure out what he used for the rings.

My last car was a Mazda 6 and we had DDE Halos that made the BMW halos look like hell. It was as simple as baking the headlights for about 8 minutes, pulling them apart and rewiring.

Of course, baking a $20,000 car's headlights and baking a $40,000 car's headlights are two different ballparks!

It could be done but my only concern is the thiness of the ring around our projector assembly. You would probably have to add a ring with the LED's to get it to work. Our ring is very thin and vented so it would be difficult.

And, those of us with adaptive headlights have to take extra care so our lights continue to swivel correctly.
I like these and would be interested once I have more info.

the rings are stock. He wired up the pre-existing holes in the stock headlight rings with LEDs.

My buddy igor is the one that did all of those. He's done about 5 G37s now. He already told me that it can't be done to our headlights because our projectors are different.

That mod is a lot easier than what I have done to my 04 sedan headlights (S2000 projector, TL projector with ZKW lens, CCFL halos, color match and tinted turn). Anything is possible if you are willing to take the time to do it.

2k is a lot of money for a headlight mod...that 5% of the cost of the car.

I would charge ~$2-2.5k to do what I did to my lights including parts and time which I have ~40 hours in. $2k is way too much for this mod IMO.
