fog lights

fog lights

has anyone changed a fog light? i have '08 g35x

also, the fog light is just regular bulb rite?..
i am thinking of changing the bulb if it can be removed easy.

yeah..just different color bulb...HID w/ yellow fog light right next to it seems bit funny...so i just want to change to similar color bulb...

and yes, order 9006. These are a good match to the HIDs... unlike the PIAA's... trust me, i know. lol

Your gonna have to remove half of the intakes to get to the fog lights. its fairly easy. I have done it and many others have as well.

says in ur sig that you have the PIAA bulbs? dont like them i'm guessing, but how do u know the hoen's are a good match? can u post pics of ur PIAA bulbs?

Ya I do have PIAA fogs right now. But I ordered Hoens cuz I wasnt happy with the PIAAs. Here is the link to the pics I posted:

Hoens are a good match... I have a buddy here who bought the Hoens and have installed it and said it was a good match.

looks great, but i just read G35Power's whole thread, and one guy said the fog light housing gets VERY HOT with the hoen bulbs. that scares me...any thoughts wes?

are u sure? which page does it say that? maybe they were referring to something else?

Im not familiar with that myself.

yea post # 46 and 48 in that thread, by evilmonkey. he confirms in the 48th post that he is using the hoen bulbs. does ur friend's housing get hot? this worries me..

No worries. It seems like he was talkin about a different bulb. A 7100K type bulb. This hoen bulb is not that. The hoen bulb is 4000K type bulb.

If i'm going to bother trying to get them to match, instead of screwing around with $40 bulbs here, $35 there, i'll just get HIDs.

I got the Hoen Bulbs they matched the Stock perfectly and it never got hot.




But I upgraded my Bulbs to 6000k So now I'm planning on getting 6000k Hids for my fogs.
