Dash "LED" screen pixels

Hi,

I went to check out a 2007 G sedan today and noticed something strange about the instrument panel between the speedo and odometer. When displaying a message (with car not turned on, in ACC) I could noticeably see small lit "pixels" away from the message, in different areas of the screen..if that makes any sense.

So instead of displaying a message, with nothing else on the screen, the panel had small amounts of lit pixels scattered about.

Could this be a cause of cold temperatures and the car being outside? I didn't have much more time to investigate, but I will when I go see the car a second time.

Does this sound normal at all?

^+1 been through below freezing winters and no extra/scattared lit pixels in the info screen other than the message or info being displayed. I hope i understand what you were trying to imply.
Otherwise, Check out a few other sedans on the lot then you should know if its normal or not...
