Splash guards are fine. After almost a two years, filters do not appear very dirty--I'm guessing because they do not sit very low and the grille/splash guards do a pretty good job. Still love the intake and have no regrets. Sitting on the fence about getting one Dj?

 

yeah man, the thing is, besides the regular touchless was i do, i sometimes spray wash crwo****/snow away from my car every now and then and wondering when i spray around the grill or at the grill, it will **** up the filters even with the splash guards.;-(

 

Yeah, you have to be careful. I pressure spray my car in the winter at a self car wash and that stuff is strong and has quite the trail of mist. I spray the grill at an angle and for a brief period of time. In warmer weather, spraying with hose is not a problem. I don't know about touchless spray washes--the thing is when you wash the car yourself, the engine is off so no sucking into the intake.

 

^ of course, hmmm....so should i get this before the sway bars or after..;-P
