Schematic for 08 Journey?
Calsonic - Here are direct links to my copy of the ventilation schematic and related HVAC buttons. Let me know if this helps. Might be easier than digging through the Service Manual if you don't already have it.

klossfam: that is a very interesting layout. I learned a couple things. One, I don't want to go to far with the pipe cleaner that I bought to clean out the ventilator ducts because I may break the ventilator door.
Two, I put my $&%&% cabin filter in backwards. The factory one had an arrow pointing up, but didn't say air flow direction or anything, just an arrow. I put the new Fram Clean Breeze cabin filter in with the arrow the same direction, but it said that is the direction for air flow. If I read this chart right, that round spinning thing under the cabin filter does not blow air up, but must suck air down, right? If that is the case, I should have the cabin air filter with the air direction arrow pointing down (right?)

Okay, so now I have popped off the internal duct door that allows you to not have air go through that duct. ARGGHHH! It was the last one and I rushed through it.
Anyone know if you can easily take the vent grill easily off the far passenger side so I can fix this screw up?
