Interior LED problem.
Just finished replacing all the interior lights with LEDs, and I noticed something odd. I had originally just replaced the map lights because they were the easiest. I had no problems. Today, I replaced the rear overhead lights and the front door lights, and when the interior lights are set to "door" there is a faint glow from the map lights and rear overhead lights. When I turn the switch to "off" there is no light emitted at all. I don't know if I did something wrong while replacing them but I don't really like this at all. Anyone have any ideas?
So this will not have any negative impact on my battery when my cars off? I know they are LEDs but I just want to make sure.
And any idea why it wasn't a problem with 2, but is with 6? I'm perplexed.

Because with 6 the entire circuit is efficient enough to allow current to flow around the circuit lighting up the LEDs, before with some incandescents in the mix they resisted the current and didn't allow the LEDs to see the low current. That is my guess, in laymans terms, I bet someone who knows more about it can explain better.
I have had this glow with LEDs for about 1 yr and no prob.s here either.

^that's basically it....
I have the same thing.
There is open circuit monitoring (blown fuse) in which a low current is still energized when the light is off.
LEDs take much less power to energize than incandescents
& the monitoring cct makes them glow.
This only happens when the car is on, so don't worry about your battery running down

Can you post some picture of your interior with the LED lights on? I want to do the same with my G but it would be nice to see how it will look first.
